Hi I'm Harriette!
I am currently in my final year of studying Art & Design BA (Industrial) at the University of Leeds. I am an enthusiastic artist and designer who thrives with all things creative!
I have undertaken numerous commissions of artworks where I specialise in oil paintings. I also produced two portraits as a part of the "Free portraits for NHS Heroes" campaign during the pandemic in 2020. My work has been featured in magazines, exhibitions and has won multiple regional and National ISA Art Competitions.
I have worked as an interior design assistant at the Hawthorn Interiors Showroom in Essex since 2022. Additionally, as a part of my degree, I completed a year work placement at Hawthorn Interiors where I was involved in various projects. As an assistant designer, my role including creating initial design concepts and schemes, proposing my design ideas to clients and providing samples of wallpaper, fabric and various other soft furnishings. I was fortunate to gain experience with designing, project managing and installing several show homes for national new development clients including a penthouse for LandCharter Homes.
Sustainability is a huge passion of mine and is central to my design practice. Throughout University I have created a multitude of artworks and designs through up cycling a variety of materials. I have also developed my skills in fashion design and was even lucky enough to have work experience at the prestigious Saville Row Tailors, Anderson & Sheppard.
